With this hacksaw you can shorten e.g. fork stems, handlebars and seatposts made of steel/aluminum.
For carbon fork steerer tubes, handlebars or seatposts, a special carbon saw blade is offered separately.

Note: Always use a suitable guide when shortening to get a straight, clean cut. Then carefully deburr the interface with a file.
